Apester, the world’s leading digital storytelling platform, is looking for a Director of Sales for their fast growing Commercial team in the US. The role is in Apester’s NYC HQs, and will require 25%-50% travel.

The Director of Sales should be creative, data-driven, a true team player, energetic and have a positive “do anything” attitude. The right candidate is eager to grow their experience and learn new advertising concepts.

The candidate must be extremely creative and have a deep rolodex of contacts within key Advertising Agencies as well as Brand marketing teams directly .
In this role, you will be responsible for generating revenue and deepening client relationships.
- Develop agency and brand sales
- Aggressively prospect, evaluate, and determine client needs
- Plan, prepare, and execute sales meetings with client prospects at all levels
- Strong understanding of client’s core objectives and ability to overcome objections
- Entertain clients and evangelize Apester products to increase market awareness
- Create and strategize effective proposal strategies to accomplish client’s needs
- Meet or exceed all revenue goals
Job Requirements and Skills
- Min 5 years digital ad sales experience (please do not apply without this)
- Experience working across several agencies and brand accounts
- Experience working with branded content programs
- Experience working with Programmatic and Video sales – a big advantage!
- Superior presentation skills, positional negotiating, and consultative selling
- Must be passionate and enjoy providing innovative solutions to clients!!!
