Apester is looking for a talented and energetic Director of Business Development who is passionate about digital media and digital revolution in publishing. This person will lead the development of the Japanese market.
Apester is one of the fastest growing digital platforms in the world, which is only logical since it offers a unique and complete set of solutions for publishers to take their content to the next generation of storytelling – where the readers’ voice is influencing the content. We are a company of 60 people and growing rapidly.

- Working closely with the Chief Business Development who is located in USA
- Lead the development, deployment, and continual improvement of Apester’s publishers network in the market
- Development capabilities in the region such as-Establishing strategic collaborations, Managing monetization processes with publishers and expanding Apester’s network in the market.
- Creatively problem solve and remove barriers to enhance our partner relationships and Accelerate our business development cycle time
- Participate in key business pitches to clients
- Be the focal point of Apester in Japan
- 5-7 years’ experience in the digital sales/BizDev industry
- Fluent English speaker/writer
- Highly motivated and initiative person
- Ability to excel both individual and team work
- An existing rolodex within the Japanese publishers industry
- Passionate about the online industry
